In March last year, casement windows at Casement winery in Melbourne were broken.
The windows had been left open for years.
But the winery, which was established in 1882, has since been refurbished to provide a more welcoming environment.
This week, Casement Winery and Café in Brighton announced it was to close its doors, and it will be replaced by a new facility called Casement Window Winery in Victoria.
In a statement, the wineries said it was in the process of closing its doors and it was not immediately clear when the new space would open.
